Terms & Conditions

Parties

These terms are between RAS Recruitment and the Client Employer (you/your) and specify the terms upon which RAS Recruitment will provide services to you unless new Terms and Conditions are notified to you in writing.

Acceptance of terms and conditions
You will be taken to have accepted these Terms and Conditions once you have provided us with a job briefing via phone/fax/email or our website (booking).

Payment Obligations

You will be required to make the following payments:

  1. At the time of booking, a listing fee of $2890 + GST will be invoiced. The listing fee is payable up front regardless of shortlist outcome and is non refundable.
  2. The fee payable to Recruitment Administration Support is for the service of collecting and processing job candidate's applications, not for successful placement. The maximum number of job candidates that will be processed through to final shortlist is 4 for any one job number. No additional charge is incurred if more than one job candidate is job offered per shortlist (per job number).
  3. We do not offer a "guarantee period"  but if we are unable to provide you with a shortlist, we will re-run the campaign at no additional charge.
  4. In the event of non payment of its fees, RAS Recruitment reserves the right to pass on and collect any fees or charges incurred in the collection of the outstanding debt including any legal or collection agency costs.
  5. All invoices are payable within seven (7) days of their date.
Provision of Shortlist
We will provide you with a shortlist of at least two (2) and up to four (4) candidates within five (5) working days (where possible) from the application closing date. The candidates provided to you will be the best candidates available for the vacancy from our databases, including those who responded to advertisements for the vacancy. The candidates in the shortlist will be those assessed by us as meeting the skills, knowledge and experience criteria specified by you in your vacancy registration form (key criteria). Selection of candidates will be based on our review of the skills, knowledge and experience presented by candidates in their individual resumes against the key criteria.

Disclaimer
  • Standard background checking levels do not accommodate for maiden or additional names, or where additional terms are to be verified (for example, if a subject requires three qualifications to be verified rather than the two allowed for in the package). In such cases, RAS Recruitment will charge additional fees per check. Conversely, if individual checks are not required for a particular case (for example, only one qualification requires verification), the fee for the individual component will be deducted. RAS Recruitment will remain in contact with their client to advise of any such anomaly to the verification process.
  • Overseas checks will be subject to a separate fee schedule and time frame and will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Fees specified do not include additional costs imposed by agencies to retrieve certain data, such as verification fees charged by universities. Should such costs be incurred, RAS Recruitment will on-charge additional fees at cost.
  • Turnaround times do not apply to criminal record checks that are subject to further enquiries by the Australian Federal Police, or for other third party delays beyond RAS Recruitment's control.
  • While every effort is made to ensure that the information available through the reference verification is accurate and up to date, RAS Recruitment  and any member of its staff will not accept any liability for any loss or damage which may be incurred by any person acting in sole reliance upon this information. RAS Recruitment acknowledges that reference verification is a very useful tool in predicting potential employee future performance only when used in conjunction with other selection processes such as interview.

Privacy and Security
  • We respect the information provided to us by our clients, job applicants and third parties and ensure that the information is used only for the purpose for which it has been collected. Our security ensures all electronic and physical files are stored securely.
  • We ensure all background checks undertaken comply with privacy legislation at all times and we require job applicants to sign a consent form. The consent allows us and you to receive, store, collect and release personal information about a job applicant.
